Albert Einstein is attributed with the quote: “Everything
should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.” In creating some of the most iconic products that the
world has known, Steve Jobs was obsessed with simplicity: “Simple can be harder
than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it
simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move
mountains.” It is time to move mountains in education.
If the goal of EdTech* is to advance learning, “Why are most of the EdTech products and services so
complex?” This blog focuses on the intersection of EdTech and Education. The objective is to
identify products and applications that are designed to create the best UX
(user experience) that will empower teachers and enable students to advance their learning in ways that wouldn’t
have been possible without EdTech.
This blog is also a forum or dialogue in which you can share your ideas about best-in-class
EdTech products/apps that have helped shape the future of K16 students. Tell us
what works, and equally important what you learned from what does not work. By joining
forces, we shall move mountains in education.
